“April showers bring May flowers” in many parts of the country but beware of April Fools Day on the 1st, which is a popular day to play tricks on people, also known as “hoaxes”. So think twice before you believe everything that is said or you may quickly hear “April Fools!” followed up by laughter.

April is also a good time to show your “green thumb” in action, or in other words show your skills with flowers and plants in the garden.
